Reply to 'Shrink to Win' Isn't Much of a Strategy

Dear Peggy Noonan,

I must disagree with you in one respect, you are talking about the party, the party , the party. What about about the principles of liberty? What have the Republicans done about promoting and defending these sacred principles, since the mid 90's? The answer explains why the "party" is where it is today.

People don't believe in parties, they believe in ideas. We have been in a war of ideas for a very long time. When the "party" finally wakes up to this fact and starts fighting, it just might see more people under it's tent.

It's not about elections and political careers, it's about ideas and courage, then fighting and defending them, instead of feeling ashamed.

No doubt in my mind Ronald Reagan would say the same, and you should know.
