Government-run plan not desirable approach

Re: http://www.montgomeryadvertiser.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20090729/OPINION02/907280345

I have a different take and I would completely disagree.

Aubie wrote "No one is arguing that something needs to be done about health care; it's what they're trying to do. Even liberals are starting to doubt this plan."

In my humble opinion, we must "undo" what the Federal Government has done to Healthcare for decades, just like it has done to education. Government rules and regulations decrease freedom, competition and quality; while simultaneously increasing cost, making it harder for lower incomes to acquire.

Our politicians have it in their minds that the United States has a national government, when no such thing exists. The US has a federal system. It is un-constitutional for the federal government to do as it proposes to do.

By all means please speak your mind, especially if you disagree with something, but do so with respect and civility to others.
