"Listening to you and staying in touch with you is (NOT) extremely important to me, which is why I have held events across the district designed for me to listen to your concerns. Next week, I would like to offer you a unique opportunity to participate in a telephone town hall on health care, as well as any other issue about which you may be concerned. I have hosted five telephone town halls so far, allowing me to be in regular contact with you and helping me reach thousands of more people than I would in a traditional town hall." This is nothing more than a info-mercial.
Just sit and listen to him.
"If you are interested in participating, please call my office at one of the numbers below and we will give you instructions on how to participate. The telephone town hall is scheduled for Wednesday, August 26th around 7 p.m." Why can't he do this in person, so we can face him, and interact?
"As always, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call my offices at the numbers below. It is my great pleasure to serve you and the entire Second District of Alabama." Please call his office and demand a face to face townhall.
