What about Freedom?

I have something that's been on my mind for a very long time, and it's time to speak out again.

Are you tired and fed up with the constant argument and blaming of one party versus the other?  What does it really mean?  They are just labels and red-herrings that disguise the real argument.  So you ask what is the real argument.  The real argument is about freedom and our human rights.  While I was growing up, we still had blaming, but America was known as the defender of freedom and human rights around the world.

I think its high time and overdue that we refrain from playing the 'blame game' and referring to parties and always construct our arguments in terms of freedom and human rights, because in my opinion we miss the point by blaming or pointing at one party or another.

There are few people who do not understand freedom and human rights, maybe not in detail, but at least conceptually they do.  The message or argument is much more meaningful to each person when frame in those terms, rather than liberal or conservative, democrat or republican, left or right wing. Someone, somewhere recently posted to FB would you begin to pay more attention, care more, if we changed the word 'politics' to 'your life'.  The message takes on more meaning when its 'your life"  or in the case of the subject here 'freedom and human rights'.

In short, my suggestion is we do our best to drop the terms Conservative, Liberal, Democrat and Republican, and many others.  Lets replace them with freedom and human rights. Politics is nothing more than about freedom; our individual rights and freedoms versus the governments freedom.
Well that's all for now, I'd love to hear your thoughts on this.

By all means please speak your mind, especially if you disagree with something, but do so with respect and civility to others.
